Ladytron: I'm telling that Danny Hunt it'll never last

Never mind that it's 20 years since the Guardian launched Notes & Queries - can you believe that it's ten years since Ladytron first coalesced in what was (then) a Liverpool back street and is now probably the fridge aisle in the big new John Lewis?

They're celebrating with an album collecting the best bits from the first decade. It's going to be a greatest hits collection, which suggests a reliance on natural justice rather than strict facts.

Gosh I loved He Took Her To A Movie. I can't believe that ten years later I can watch the same band on Yo Gabba Gabba (a programme I couldn't have imagined 10 years ago even though everything looks like it came from 10 years before that).

It should be named "What should've been Huge Hits" because Ladytron have consistently released high quality singles and albums, and yet somehow bands like Goldfrapp, Franz Ferdinand etc and more recently people like La Roux, who have received more recognition and hits of course!!!
